First test of our Quantum Blockchain with real QKD link

On January 20th, 2022 we have started testing our Quantum Blockchain Simulator with a real QKD link. The link consisting of two Armos QKD devices and a dark fiber segment of 60km length has been setup for us in Bangalore, India, by our partner QNU Labs. We have accessed both ends of the link using mutually authenticated proxy server run for us by QNU Labs. From the Blockchain perspective, we replaced on of the simulated links by the real QKD link accessed via the proxy. Initial tests went smoothly and the key-exchange process worked well.
