Quantum B’s Dr. Marta Misiaszek-Schreyner Speaks at QOT Expert Meeting
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Marta Misiaszek-Schreyner, chief scientist at Quantum B, recently had the honor of presenting at the Quantum Optical Technologies (QOT) Expert Meeting in Warsaw on October 11th. This event, known for bringing together the brightest minds in quantum optics and technology, provided a platform for Dr. Misiaszek-Schreyner to discuss some of the existing challenges which Quantum B is aiming to solve.
Dr. Misiaszek-Schreyner’s presentation, titled “Quantum Tools for Blockchain Technology” delved into the intersection of quantum information science and blockchain. It highlighted the limitations of current Blockchain systems, notably, that all classical blockchain systems face the impossibility “trilemma” in that they cannot achieve decentralization, security and stability at the same time.
Dr. Misiaszek-Schreyner’s then demonstrated how quantum advancements have the potential to revolutionize the blockchain landscape, ensuring more robust security, scalability, and functionality to solve the trilemma. She also discussed several solutions which Quantum B is currently utilizing in our Quantum Secure Blockchain which include, Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), and Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG). They aim at making blockchains safe in the era of quantum computing.
Her participation at the QOT Expert Meeting in Warsaw underscores Quantum B’s commitment to driving innovation at the crossroads of quantum information science and blockchain technology. Feel free to contact us to learn more about our solutions!
